"internet" is the album's most honest piece of songwriting, and is also the opening track. It deals with the new phenomenon of everybody around us trying their utmost to be someone of significance on the internet, as well as the struggles of having your work as an artist evaluated purely on the basis of followers, likes and comments. Seeing new singers and influencers blow up seemingly overnight, Dillon was faced with two options: 1.) be sour about it, or 2.) wish his fellow creators well on their new found success, and write a song that might help him and others in the same headspace unwind. He chose the latter. Lookout for the official music video this November.
